Don’t forget to vote in the Police Commissioner for Norfolk elections on Thursday 2nd May!

Voter ID requirements

The UK government has announced that electors choosing to vote in person at the polling station on 2nd May will need to present an accepted form of photographic ID in order to receive their ballot paper. Widely known as Voter ID this is one of the key aspects of the Elections Act 2022 and will see some of the biggest changes at the polling station in generations.

Green bin
Your usual recycling collection day is Monday
Your next Green Bin collection is 7th May (Tuesday), then 20th May

Brown bin
Your usual garden waste collection day is Tuesday
Your next Brown Bin collection is 8th May (Wednesday) then 21st May

Mobile Library

The next visit to Swanton Abbott from the mobile library is Friday 17th May then Friday 14th June. They stop at The Hill between 14.50 and 15.20, and then at The Poplars from 15.25 to 15.45.
